IMPERIAL FEDERATION.

ADDRESS BY MR. MALCOLM, M.P. (Per United Press Association.) ' FEILDING, March 23, Mr Malcolm, M.P., gave a lecture h<*rc last night on Imperial Federation, and was given a cordial reception. Motions were carried that it was unjust that tho whole burden of guarding tho Empire should fall on the United Kingdom; that tho overseas Dominions should share on an equitable basis; that the Dominions should bo given a share of the control of the defences expenditure and the foreign policy of the Empire, and the meeting therefore welcomes the idea of Imperial Federation and considers the matter demands the prompt attention of Parliament and the country.
