Mr B. T. Einger, who has occupied the position of Invercargill agsmt of the Wanganui branch of the New Zealand Flourmillers’ Association for some eight years, has been appointed to a similar position with the Invercargill branch in place of Mr J. Bews, who has joined Messrs Fleming and Co.
At yesterday afternoon’s meeting of the Hawke’s Bay Education Board, 12 months' leave of absence on full pay was granted to Inspector H. Hill, who intends making a trip to England. Members of the Board paid high tributes to the excellence of MiHill’s'work, and said his name was writ large upon the educational history of the province.
