A MAORI PLEADS GUILTY. (Per United Press association.) BLENHEIM, April 27. A Maori named Matthew Puhipi was arrested at I-luntiy and charged at the Court this morning with forging and uttering a cheque for £7 10s, and obtaining goods and money valued at Jll 9s f>d by false pretences. Accused pleaded guilty on two charges, and was remanded to Wellington tor sentence. The other two charges were held over till' to-morrow.
