AUCKLAND, April 27. The contest for the election of Mayor of Auckland resulted in the, return of L. J. Bagnall, who secured 3627 votes against P. J. Nerheny 1992 and W. Richardson 4.55.

For Parnell tho sitting Mayor, R. S. Briggs, was re-elected, polling 533 votes against 243 cast for Air F. Fitt.

At Birkenhead, A. Keyes (sitting Alaydr) defeated E. G. Sk,catcs and H. P. Taylor. In all tho other boroughs the sitting Mayors wore rc-eiectcd unopposed. ' DUNEDIN, April 27. City.—T. Cole 3801, B.
