NEST OF NUGGETS.

DISCOVERED AT BALLARAT. MELBOURNE, January 12. The North Woah Hawp mine at Ballarat, have met with a patch of rich specimens, weighing about -tOOoz. (estimated to contain 2200z. of pure gold), valued at over .£9OO, at the 840 ft. level north on the “Indicator.” The specimens were found about 80ft. from the boundary of the Woah Hawp Canton Mine, in which during the last sis months nuggets valued at over £SOOO have been found. The nest of nuggets broken into on Wednesday was found in the winze about 25ft. below the main level on the “Indicator." The first to be picked out was a flattened specimen about 3in. long, containing approximately 260z. of gold. The vein of stone in which the nugget occurred is 3ft. thick.
