314 Judge's Remarks. — Mr McCaul in his summing up, commented that the debating was not up to the usual standard of the Union teams, but was pleased at the way the new teams had acquitted themselves. He pointed out several of the more ' conspicious errors of the speakers and gave some very good criticism and advice. Next Debate — The drawings for the next debate were as follows: — "That the Party System is the Best Conceivable Form of Democratic Government." — Baptists, aff. v. T. Y.M.I. B; C.C.C., aff. v. St. Paul's; T.Y.M.I A, aff. v. Socialists. Koanga a bye. This debate is arranged for May 12th, and should be a very interesting one.
