RESERVES
Mr Mackay advocated the improvement of the reserves, and claimed the credit for Laird Park being put into usable condition, the only thing Mr Muir had done being to get some seats put in it. Mr Mackay stated that he had already written to the Minister of Justice asking that the gaol grounds should be handed over to the Council as a reserve.
