Tile case brought by the Calton Bill Brick, Tile, and Township Company against the Crown for destruction of the company's kiln and deprivation of bupiness was concluded in the Supreme Court today after a hearing extending over some 16 days. The claim was originally for .£9500, but .£ISOO (claim for depreciation of property) was eventually abandoned. The cause of the injury was alleged to be tunnel work in connection with the duplication of the Mospiel railway line. Judgment was reserved. Tbe case was heard before Mr Justice Williams and two assessors.
