ORGAN RECITAL.

Mr iowsey's oihcr numbers were Mozart's Insanae et Vanac Curac," Kullak's 'Pastorale," a very tunelul selection, \leyerbeer's "Santa Maria ' (innn "Dinirah"), the conceited numbers "Rondo" Kuhlan) and Calkin's Minuet and Trio, additional interest was lent to the recital >y the inclusion of two vocal items by >liss Tuwsey, a violin solo by Mr r rank latherly, and a trio, haip (Mrs llug-hes ,ohns<jn)« violin (Air Frank Hatherly) .nd organ. Miss Towsey's first number .as '•Xearor My fJod to Thee," to arey's setting, the accompaniment >eingr played on the organ. Later on she endeied Mascagni's intermezzo from Cavjliena Rusticana," the harp, violn and organ act ompanying, the combination oi instruments being- extremely • armonious. This item was one of the ;est of the evening-. The trio item, Haniel's "Lanro," was another very line Him her, harp and violin, an uncommon ombination with the organ so far as ocal recitals are concerned, blending /cry sweeth. Mr Hatherly's solo was 'Aye Maria," a setting- by Gounod, from Jach's first prelude. He was accompanied by the harp and organ, and gave i feeling rendition.
