BLACK -PREMYSLAV CONCERT.
Leopold Prcnnblav, the Polish Violinwho visits YVanxanui on Tuesday, he lhth June, with Mr Andrew Black, s a very talented and interesting musiian. He is joiing and of medium icitflit and wears neither extraordinary lothes nor tanftled hair to denote his rtustic temperament. Though he is sinftilarly modest, he has been an honoured met in the palaces of many Kings, and ie wears handsome decorations bestowed >n him by the Emperor of Germany, the Sultan of Turkey, and the Kingr of Swelen. In Shantrhai the European ladies -.übsrribcd two thousand dollars to preent him with a silver (massive) bowl. The Tientsin ladies, not to be outdone, •übscribed and purchased a larger one, vhich they sent to his home in Paris. Premyslav knows the art of pleasing his niblic and as encores to the more classical pieces, he invariably plays popuar plrasant airs that everyone knows md likes to hear. Mr Premyslav is a •xmerful attraction to concert «oers. Mr \ndrcw Black is undoubtedly one of the oremost vocalists in the world and his splendid sing-ing is still fresh in the -ninds of _ Wanganuites. Supported by Miss Rosina Buckman. soprano and Mjss Bessir Bcartic. pianist, the company is one of rare all-round excellence.
