At our Wanganui horse sale on the 13th iaatant we had a large entry. The attend-

ance was good and bidding brisk. A strong demand existed for sound draughts, young and guaranteed staunch ; also for unbroken draughts and half draughts. We disposed of the bulk of the entry at satisfactory prices. At Wanganui etock sale, on the 17th instant, we yarded 550 mixed cattle, 200 sheep (principally fats), and 120 pigs. We disposed of most of the cattle, though prices were somewhat low. Only A few sheep were yarded, which we quitted at .satisfactory prices. The demand for pigs was good, and all sold at advanced values. At Wavcrley sale on the 19th instant, we had a small yarding of 80* head cattle, and 450 mixed sheep, besides sundries, etc. The attendance was small, but bidding was brisk. We disposed of all offered as quoted below. At Turakina Sale. — Mixed yearlings 27s 6d to 37s 6d, small ditto 10s to 15s, 2-year heifera and steers £2 10s, good springing heifers £% 14s to £3 15s, 2-year heifere 355, store cows 30s to £2, good yearling steers £2, good ewes (90 per cent, lambs) 24s 6d, hacks (best) .£lO to .£lO ss, others £3 15s to £\ ss, unbroken draught* ,£2O to <£36. others .£ls to 4>lß.
