DALGETY AND COMPANY'S LONDON MARKET ADVICES.

Dalg«ty and Company, Limited, Wellington, have received the following cable from their London Office, under date of the 18th instant: — Butter. — Since our telegram of the 11th instant, the Copenhagen official quotation i« unchanged. The total imports of butter into the United Kingdom for the week ending the 13th inst. amounted to 73,000 cwt., as cotnpared with 74,000 for the corresponding week of 1905. Frozen Meat.— -Prices for all descriptions are higher by Jd per lb. Tallow.— All sorts, at par to 3d per cwt higher. • Wool. — Dates for next year's sales have been fixed as follows: — First series, to open on 15th January; second, 12th March. (The quantity of new wool for these sales will be limited to 180,000 and 150,000 bales respectively.) Third series, opening date 30th April; fourth series, 9th July; fifth ■cries 24th September; sixth, 26th November. For the latter four series the quantity of new wool to be admitted is not limited, and all arrivals up to within eight days of the opening of the sales will be admitted.
