TENNIS.
Last evening the annual ireelinjr of the Mahoe (Queen's Park 1 ) Tennis Club was held at Freeman R. Jaclcsou's rooms. The annual report and balance sheet showed the club to be in a very satisfactory condition, and the secretary reported thnt some 15 new members had been elected, also that a number of others had intimated their intention of joining the Club. He also reported that the courts had been top dressed this season, the cost of which had been borne out of last years' results. Two amended rules were passed — (1) That the name of the club bo altered to ''The Queen's Park Tennis Club," and (2) that the subscription be reduced. The followinfi officers were elected :— -President, Mr C. E. Mackay; vice-presidents, Messrs G. S. Gordon, W. J. Treadwell, and J. D. Bates .secretary, Mr G. McCaul (re-elect-ed); treasurer, Mr A. W. Mountfort (reelected); committee, general. Messrs A. J. McCaul. Broekett, M. G. Bell, L. Craig,, and Blennerhassett ; ladies committee, Misses Cummins, Swan, and Cooch. The opening day was left to the committee to decide. It will probably be Saturday next.
