It is reported that Lord Ullin's Daughter will cease her preparation for her existing engagements, her trainer believing that she will break down if her training is persisted in. Rumour has it that Maniapoto is amiss. Colour is lent to the report by the horse's absence from Rosehill yesterday. At Rosehill Miss King ran third in the Hurdles. She held the lead on the escond round, crossing the last hurdle in company with the winner, Rata. Received September 17, 10.36 a.m. SYDNEY, September 17. Sleeper received injuries at Rosehill on Saturday which necessitated her destruction.
