NELSON, February 4.

1 Tlie Premier returned ;on Saturday eveu# ing from a visit to Murchinson and Central Buller, where he received an enthusiastic reception, ' many travellings^ miles over the ranges. In a speech at MurchiBon, Mr Seddon expressed .satisfaction at the progress of the settlement, despite the means of communication.
