ODDFELLOWS' HALL.

" Tho Two Little Vagabonds."

The scenery which will bo used in the production of the " Two Little Vagabonds" at tho Oddfellows' Hall on Wednesday and Thursday (nonings next has nil been specially painted for the New Zealand tour by the well-known Melbourne artists, Messrs G- and J. Goidon and Phil Goatcher, So that nothingjnight be left undone to ensure a successful presentation of the drama, Messrs Williamson and Musgrove had two complete sets of scenery painted, one of which was devised for stages which could not possibly accommodate the material required for the larger cities. The play is one that calls for a great deal of elaboiate ssenic work, and the artists mentioned are said to have painted some exquisite cloths, etc., for tho production. Regarding tho merit of the drama itself, and its ettects upon the audience, that may be succintly told in the words of the Melbourne Argus, when it was first presented in that city a few months ago. It wrote : — " A vast and enthusiastic audience wept and laughed, and wept again, as tho sensational adventures of the 'Two Little Vagabonds ' were unfolded. It was a remaikable success." Praise such as this f 10m Australia's leading paper is no small matter, and should be accepted by our theatregoeis aq sufficient guarantee that they are going to witness a drama of exceptional excellence.
