Establishment of a Field Battery.
New Guns and Equipments for the Y-olunteers, Alterations in Volunteer Regulations. (Per United Press Association.) Wdllinoton, March 14. Tho Government has decided to establish a field battery for service where needed, with headquaiters probably in Wellington. New guns and equipments of the most modern pattern are to be provided, the Volunteer foico is to be incieased, and the regulations alteied in the direction of an increasing number of parade?.
