FIRE AT DUNEDIN.
« (Per United Press Association) BTTBEDnf, October 23. A fire broke out this morning in a threestorey building formerly part of Gutbrie and Lftrnuoh's now occupied bj Scott Bros., produce merchants, and U S North, brush manufacturer, and was completely gutted. Nothing but the walls were left standing. Insurances— Scott's, £400 on stook in the Royal Exchange and £280 in the Standard ; I North's stook and machinery, £400 in the Boyal Exchange. Tho buildings, the i property of Henry North were uninsured. Thomson and Bridger's building adjoining and stock were both damaged. The Oymnastio Club, who rented tbe npper floor, lost £50 worth of apparatus.
