« (Per United Press Association.) Feilding, Ootober 24. Ihs Piemier addressed a large meeting here last night. He defended tho actions of the Government and their legislation siuoe they took office, condemning the previous administration of the Oomervatives Ho spoke in favor of the Old Age Fensioas and Anferundum, which the Government would deal with next session, The constitution of tho legislative Council requirnd amending so as to prevent measures being thrown out which had reoeived the almost unanimous support of the Lower Honse. Mr Beddon was awarded a unanimous vote of thanks. He was splendidly reoeived both at Apiti and Foilding.
