The Adjourned Annual Meeting'
Mr J. Bates fricf-prosidonb) ocoupied the ohnir at the adjourned anDual meeting of mombers ofthe Union Boat Olub Just evening at Foster's Hotel. Thero was a good attendance of memberj. The question of secession was gone into, and it was decided that if the Aramoho branch can come to satisfactory arrangements viiVi the trusleas the oecesaion mill take place at the end of the season. Aftor this discussion the members of the Aramoho branch left the meeting, and the sleotion of officers was proccded with. For the office of president it was unanimously resolved to ask Mr P. M. Spurdle to again take the offici ; vice-preaidents, Mesßrs J. Eaten, W. H. G. Foster and K. HUghes j captain, A. Gray ; deputy captain, Walter Williams ; secretary, G. Brown W. Williaroß: committee, Messrs Townsend, Battle. Buckley, Puroell, Kendall, Euscoe and Colej auditor, B. Hughes. The following new members warn elected ••— B. McLean, J. McLean, O. Jones, B Wall. G. McArtney, D. Malone, O. Wnllace, P. Loftus, J. Bichards, J. Molntosh, W. MoGonagle, Hy.iTownsend, E. Gordon, T. DewsoD, E. Williams, W. Whitcombe, G. Whitcombe, Hamilton, N. Miller and a, Williama. Mr Williams' notice of motion that the subscription be reduced to .£1 Is was carried unanimously, The opening of the Eoseon was left in the hands of the captain to arrange -yith cue captain ot of the W.R.O.
