AUCKLAND.
March 13.
The steamer Coquette has sailed from the Barrier Islands for Newcastle with 150,000 feet of bulk timber.
At the annual meeting of the Thames and Rotorua Railway, Dr Campbell, presiding chairman, in moving the adoption of the report, said that but for the obstruction of the Government the line would have been completed, and the validity of the Rotorualeases would then never have been questioned.
