March 14.
Ford states that he has discovered a copper lode 16ft thick near the White Cliff railway station, in the Malvern district. The copper was exposed by- a landslip.
It is understood that Isaac Wilson, M.H.R. for Kaiapoi, will resign this month, and it is reported that Sir William Fox will be asked to become a candidate.
