Dykes (3mm) 3 The fastest time was made by L. Clark, 38mins. CLARK IMPRESSIVE. (By “ Sprocket.”) Clark (off ,2 minutes), rode an impressive race and ■won- in a convincing manner, like a veritable champion in tho making. * * * * T. Sayer rode a veil under conditions which .suited him and finished an easy second. # * * * Dykes, riding his first race since last September, did well and will improve with further races. * * * * Of the rest E. Sayer had a hopeless task ahead of him, riding on his own off the scratch mark, but revealed glimpses of past form. # « * * Condon was not at his best and requires training to return to his best. y * * # It was pleasing to see B. Deane back in action and with Burr and Little, who did not compete in this race, next Saturday’s event to the Royal Oak Hotel and return should present more interest.
