INFANTILE PARALYSIS
WELLINGTON SUSPECTS. WELLINGTON, Sunday. Two suspects were admitted to the Wellington Hospital for observation, one, a girl of eight years from Plimmerton, and the other, a girl of 10J years from Moxham Avenue. (P.A.) A WOMAN'S DEATH. CHRISTCHURCH, Sunday. A woman, aged 38, from the of Sumerfield, died in the Public Hospital late last night from infantile , paralysis. She was admitted earlier in the evening suffering from paralytic fever. ■ An earlier case occurred in the same house, but the first patient is making good progress. A child aged two and a half years has been admitted hospital as a suspect. J Two cases admitted on Friday wave been diagnosed as negative. —(P.A.) WANGANUI PATIENT. WANGANUI, Sunday. Another case of infantile paralysis, the second in Wanganui, was notified on Saturday, the victim being a boy aged two years from Castlecliff. The ease is diagnosed as positive, but in a mild form. —(P.A.) ; TARANAKI CASES. NEW PLYMOUTH, Sunday... Two cases of infantile paralysis, both of a mild nature, were reported at Moturoa, New Plymouth, yesterday. Both patients were three years of age and were affected by weakness in the limbs. Schools in the district will not be closed. —(P.A.) MORE WAIKATO CASES. HAMILTON, This Day. Five week-end cases of alysis were taken to hospital. The total infantile paralysis cases for the Waikato district is now 30. —(P.A.)
