The indications are for westerly winds moderate to strong and in places south-westerly. Mainly there is . a prospect of fair to cloudy weather but scattered rain probable at times 1 . The barometer is unsteady but has a rising tendency. ; PHASES OF THE MOON. OCTOBER.
