Mr H. J. McKenzie has been appointed referee in the game, Australia v. Hawke’s Bay, at Napier on 29th August.

Mr J. Blake lias been appointed referee for the Nelson-Marlborough Seddon Shield game at Blenheim on 22nd August.

The N.Z. team for the first test to be played against Australia will be selected at the conclusion of the WellingtonWairarapa match at Masterton on Wednesday, 26th August. All the N.Z. selectors will be present on that occasion. The New Zealand selectors will then proceed to Napier to witness the Australia v. Hawke’s Bay game at Napier on the following Saturday.
