EARLY RAIL DELIVERY

WELLINGTON TO MASTERTON. A pleasing feature in to-day’s advertisements is advice from the Railway Department of having instituted a goods service to land Wellington consignments at lower Wairarapa stations up to Masterton in time for 8.0 a.m. delivery. The service replaces the present 4.15 a.m. Wellington-Masterton train (Masterton arr. 9.41 a.m.) and is due Featlierston dep. 5.35 a.m., Woodside 6.0 a.m., Carterton 6.40 a.m., and arrives Masterton 7.20 a.m. The present 7.45 a.m. '‘mixed” train from Cross Creek is rescheduled to leave Cross Creek 7.35 a.m. and arrives Masterton 9.12 a.m. Full particulars are shown in advertisement in this issue.
