PERRY' STILL AN AMATEUR. HOLLYWOOD, Tuesday. “F. J. Perry has not turned professional,” an acquaintance said, shortly after Perry had'left for New York, en route for England, where he will compete in tournaments. Before leaving, Perry talked with Mr Jones, secretary of the Californian Tennis Association, telling him. he had not thought of departing from amateur standing. Mr Jones said Perry told him he had turned down proposals from film companies.
