MELBOURNE SALES. ' * MELBOURNE, Tuesday. A very .strong Jbuqyant market prevailed at the'Melbourne wool sales today. , 'V■ - The demand for all descriptions of wool was excellent, and clearances were .effected.
BRADFORD TOPS. LONDON, Monday. Bradford tops market is very firm and the high prices ruling are restrict,ing business. ■ DOMINION SALES. CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday. The following particulars have been supplied by the New Zealand Woolbrokers’ Association in regard to the sale at auction of the New Zealand clip up to 31st March last: — Offered, 478,007 bales; sold, 424,150 bales. The weight of wool sold was 145,996,139 pounds. The total realisation was £3,950,197. Average prices were 6.49 d lb.; and £9/6/3.17d per bale.—(P.A.)
