We extend our sympathy to her relatives. We Tegret that oariv in the year Mrs R. E. Maunsell was very unwell and had to ask to be relieved from her presidential duties. We are glad that she is now much better in health and hope she will be able to take an active interest in the League again. The branch now has 15 life members, 16 10s 6d members, 132 5s members and two 2s 6d members, total 165. Our school membership for 1934 was 254. Wo thank the teachers of both public and private schools for the spirit of loyalty they have shown in enrolling members. We-congratulate Mat alii wi and Hadlow Preparatory schools on having 100 per cent, membership for the sixth year in succession. We also congratulate Longbush School on having 100 per cent, membership and gaining their New Zealand flag, but regret that it was not possible to arrange the flag presentation ceremony before the end of 1934.
