WAIRARAPA MEETING. GOOD SCORING. GREYTOWN, _ The \Vairarapa Rifle Asso«ption's annual meeting is being held :mPapawai to-day in ideal weather. There is bright sunshine and a very light breeze down the range. Fourteen targets are in use and there are ninety competitors. C. Gower (Wanganui) secured the possible in the Bidwill Match, 300 yards. W. X. Masefield (Blenheim), T. Orr (Grevtown), and C. J. Nix (Featherston); all obtained possibles in the Buchanan Match (500 yards). The results are:—• BIDWILL MATCH, 300 Yards. £2—C. Gower (Wanganui) 50 £1 10s —.T. C. Carter (Petone) 49 £I—II. C. Percy (Alfredton) 49 17s 6d—W. N. Masefield (Blenheim) 49 17s 6d—O. P. George (New Plymouth) 49 Three competitors scored 4S, nineteen 474, and three 47. They all won 10s. Seven were counted out.
