RIFLE SHOOTING
MASTERTON-OPAKI CLUB. Members of the various rifle clubs in the Wairarapa Avill have an opportunity of shoAving their skill at the range at PapaAvai on Monday, Avhen a series of matches Avill be fired, and Avhich Avill giA'e a line on form for the big N.R.A. meeting Avhich Avill open at Trentham on Wednesday, 7th March. As far as Masterton-Opaki Club is concerned, there is a large entry for both meetings. About 20 members Avill journey to Papawai, and about 8 to Trentham, and they should give a good account of themselves. First-class ammunition Avill be used at both meetings, and in order to see hoAV their rifles are going, members of the Masterton-Opaki Club will be alloAved to use any ammunition they Avisli, and to compete for the Aveekly trophy. A good muster of members is expected on the range to-mor-roAv, Avhen seA‘en shots OA'er all ranges Avill be fired.
