CHEAPER STEEL
COST REDUCED BY HALF, LONDON, Tuesday. Experiments occupying many months have enabled the Duffield Iron Corporation to produce steel saleable at under £2 a ton, half of the present cost. The firm 15 now installing a plant for commercial production of the steel.
