WOOL MARKET
JAPAN’S PURCHASES. OF AUSTRALIAN WOOL. SYDNEY, Wednesday. Leading businessmen who returned to Sydney to-day from the East declared that Japan was now one of the largest buyers of Australian wool. They estimated that her purchases would soon reach a million bales a year. They were convinced that Japan’s intluen.ee would soon lead to prosperity in Manchuria, which presently would be needing Australian wool in the same proportion as Japan.
