In a Rugby match played at Whakataki on Saturday, Whakataki beat Tinui by Id points to 11. Tries were scored for Whakataki by 1. Harvey and D. Mclsaac. R. Munro converted one try and kicked two penalty goals, cor Tinui, tries were scored by J. Bennett and Trass. Hanaray converted one try and kicked one penalty goal. The game was a good keen one, well contested throughout. It was anybody’s game up to within 1 about five minutes of time, when Mclsaac’s try gave Whakataki the victory. Mr E. Collerton was the refevee. Next Saturday’s match will be played by Homewood and Tinui, at Tinui. Mr Collerton will again be the referee.
