S.M. COURT
SITTING AT MASTERTON. Mr J. Miller, SAL, presided over a sitting of the S.M. Court at Masterton this morning. Bruce Cameron was convicted and ordered to pay 10/- costs for having pulled up his motor car too far from the street kerb.
Angel E. Caselberg was convicted and ordered to pay costs 10/- for having left a motor car in Jackson Street unattended.
For having parked his motor ear on the wrong side of the road Jack Bristed was fined 10/- and costs 10/-.
For having allowed a person to be on tiie running board of a motor car while it was in motion John Stewart was fined 10/-.
W. A. Pickup, for having driven a motor car at a speed which might have been dangerous to the public, was fined £2 and cost £l/0/6.
Stan. Pearson, for having exceeded the sliced permitted by the heavy traffic classification, was lined £2 and costs 10/-.
For having allowed cattle to wander 611 a road A. J. Patrick, A. P. Clark and H. M. Boddington were each fined 40/- and costs £l/0/6. J. W. J. Spicer, for having ridden a motor cycle carrying more than two persons, contrary to the motor vehicle regulations, was fined 10/- and cost £1 0/6. Defendant was also charged with having driven a motor vehicle at a speed whit'll might have been dangeious to the public. He was fined £4, and costs £l/0/6, and an order made endorsing his license. W. C. Crewe was fined 30/- and costs £l/2/6 for having driven a motor vehicle at a speed which might hate been dangerous to the public. G. I. Bradley was lined 10/- and costs IS/- for having struck one Victor Gordon. For having failed to eradicate cod]in moth in their orchards, John Angus M('Master was fined £2 and costs 10/-; John Aliclc Betts, £3 and 10/eosts; William Brown, 10/- and costs 10/-; D. McCarty, 30/- and costs 10/-; Charles Ewen, £3 and costs 10/-; M. A. Hourigan, 10/-; M. A. Shaw, £•> and 10/- costs; C. Sutherland, £3 costs 10/s Carl Volheim, 30/- and costs 10/-; D ,T. Rzoska, 15/- and costs 10/-; Thomas Yovee, £3 and costs 10/-. Frank Rvman was charged with havimr operated a motor caravan having a heavy traffic license, and was ordered to pay counsel’s costs £2/2/-.
