CHRISTCHURCH TRAGEDY.
DEATHS FROM POISON. (By Telegraph—Press Association). CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. A tragedy occurred at 53 Salisbury Street this morning as the result of which Mrs Dunford, a middle-aged woman, and her son Frank, aged 14, are both dead, and her daughter Iris, of 16 years, is in the hospital critically ill. The tragedy is believed to be due to poisoning and was discovered by the girl ringing Dr. , Thompson. He arrived just as she collapsed.
The woman was found dead in a shed. The husband in a labourer and is absent on the Public Works near Culverden.
