ECLIPSE OF SUN.
TO-MOREOW MORNING. The eclipse of the sun to-morrow, which will be total at the island of Niaufou, in the South Pacific, will be visible as a partial eclipse throughout New Zealand. Circumstances of the eclipse for Masterton are as follow: — Eclipse begins (first contact), 8.33 a.m., N.Z. summer time. Greatest phase, 9.31 am., N.Z. summer time. Eclipse ends (last contact), 10.33 a.m., N.Z. summer time.
