Montague, Auckland, is elocutionary judge, and Miss Con■sance MacDonald, of Napier, will again officiate in the fancy dancing section. The national dancing judge has vet to be appointed.' The syllabus is practically the same ■as that of last year, the executive having found it to be most satisfactory to all concerned. With the book are . published some practical hints to competitors and others, as there is a growing tendency to be careless with the King’s English.
