(Received Friday, 11.5 a.m.) AIELBOUKNE, This Day. . At a meeting of the Board of Control for International Cricket, attention was given to correspondence from the Alarylebone Cricket. Club and the New Zealand Cricket Council regarding the proposal that the English team should play two matches in New Zealand at the end of the 1925-29 tour. The Board decided it could not consider any suggestions that would involve curtailment of the Australian programme. No provision is made for a visit to New Zealand in the itinerary, which shows that the team will commence its tour with a match against the West Australian colts at Perth on October 13th, visit all States, and conclude the tour at Perth on March 28th. The Board adhered to its decision to play a test at Brisbane, taking one awav from Sydney, despite New South Wales’ strong protest. In the test matches six-ball overs will be reverted to, but in other matches the overs will consist of eight balls. The Board decided that the New Zealand tour should commence immediately after the match between Victoria and Queensland, which is timed to end not later than February Sth. V. Richardson has been selected as captain of the team to tour New Zealand. R. O. Talbot, who compiled the remarkable score of 13,5 not out at the Park Oval yesterday, is a prominent Canterbury cricketer and a well-known Rugby footballer. The score of 100 runs by W. lan Bunny yesterday is a meritorious one. It will be remembered that Bunny, who j, a.
