SCOTS CONCERT.

NEW YEAR NIGHT' ATTRACTION. As usual, the Wairarapa Caledonian Society will conclude their annual gathering on Alonday next with a Scots concert in St. Matthew’s Hall. Of the local talent who will be assisting. Aliss Rita Masson, Aliss Mavis Stevens, Mr Harry Hall and Air Bert Tenner need no introduction with their music, song and story. A isiting artists will include Air and Airs Grimshaw, of Palmerston North, who have a Do-minion-wide reputation. Airs J. G. Grimshaw is a gold medallist, and judging by Press notices to hand, lovers of the' old Scotch songs have a treat in store on Alonday night. All Grimshaw. in addition to his vocal numbers, will tell his audience “How Sandy Proposed.’’ Aliss Ailsa Xieol, of Wellington, will make her initial bow to a Wairarapa audience. A light soprano voice and a dainty stage presence appear to have made Aliss Xieol ji popular favourite in Christchurch, Wellington and Palmerston North. The Caledonian Society will again be indebted to Airs W. Cr. Perry for the accompaniments.
