SAMOAN AGITATORS. (By Telegraph —Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Friday. The Prime Minister’s Office announced to-day that the Administrator of Western Samoa, after taking the steps required by the Samoa Amendment Act, 1627, had been authorised by the Gov-ernor-General in Council to require Olaf Frederick Nelson, Edwin William Gurr and Arthur George Smyth to depart from Samoa, Nelson and Gurr for a period of five years, and Smyth for a period of two rears. The necessary orders made by the Administrator were served upon the persons named to-day. OTHERS TO APPEAR. AUCKLAND, This Day. A wireless message received by the Auckland office of the Nelson Company states that Nelson, Gurr, and Smyth appeared with counsel before the administrator of Samoa, but no specific, charge was made. Deputations of missionaries and citizens met the Administrator seeking conciliation for the preservation of peace. Meredith, West, Brook, and Williams and three other members of the Citizens’ 'Committee hare been ordered to appear before the Administrator on December 30.
