BRAWL ON SHIP.

A FIREMANS DEATH. (By Telegraph-—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Monday. James Kelly, aged Jo, a. fireman on the lonic, died on the ship at Auckland to-night as the sequel to a brawl between a number of firemen on the deck. No arrest has been made. It is thought possible that .Kelly may have died from heart failure. He had only one small cut on the head, although he was bleeding freely from the nose. AN ARREST MADE. AUCKLAND, This Day. As the result of investigation by detectives into the fracas on the Tonic tho police arrested a trimmer named Phillip Sullivan, aged 2D, on a charge that lie assaulted Kelly. Sullivan was remanded till December I Oth. No statement was made by the police, but it transpires that the cause of Kelly’e death was haemorrhage of the brain.
