BOWLING.
MASTEUTON CLUB. At a committee meeting held last evening, it was decided to arrange a visit to Grcytown and Featherston on the 25th, and to invite Carterton to play a friendly match on the Masteiton Green on the Ist April. The club has decided to hold a rink tournament at Easter. £l2 will, be given in prizes, the entrance fee will be 7b 6d a player It is the intention of the club to make this an annual fixture, and bowlers are asked to popularise it. A bill will shortly be issued giving full particulars of same. In keeping with the progressiveness of the ‘club a billiard table will shortly be installed. As the days are drawing in, and the season coming to a close,• players are asked to get the championship matches off as early as possible.
