MYSTERIOUS FIRE.
AN ELTHAM OUTBREAK. (By Telegraph —Press Association.) ELTIIAM, This Day.
About four o’clock this morning a fire broke out in the premises of O. R. K. Gumming, coach-builder, of York steret. The premises are situated next door to the Fire Brigade Station; nevertheless, the fire had a strong hold before tlio alarm was given. The premises and plant were completely destroyed. The insurance op the machinery was £l9O and on the plant £SOO. The building was owned by Hurrcli Bros., of Hawera. 'j>he origin of the fire is unknown.
