TOWN HALL PICTURES.
A packed houso saw tho initial screening of the current programme at tho Town Hall, and apparently wjthout exception ono and all enjoyed it from start to finish. Of the comics the Keystone "Sky Pirato" was undoubtedly tho champion laugh compeller, and the picturo, in addition to its comical side, presents an cxcollont view of aeroplaning, taking its name from this special feature. The Gaumont Graphic is full of European items, in fact it can hardly bo described as a war fihn, and the second Gaumont production is a very interesting showing of tho manufacture of tho universally used incandescent lamp. Another good comedy is that produced by tho Vitagraph Company, whose players are amongst tho highest in tho "movie" world; its title is "Pickles, Art vie world; its title ie "Pickles, Art and Sauerkraut," .1 curious enough mixture which, however, with skilful treatment, blends into an excellent comedy. Other subjects aro Edison's grand drama "Tho Shattorcd Tree," a Patho colour "Tho Sacred City of Benares" — that renowned old town in India—and a Kalom drama. Tho programme will havo its final screoning this evening.
