Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report as under:—On Tuesday, we held a clearing sale on account of Mr J. A. Rayne, Pleckvitle, when we offered his flock of sheep and dairy herd, and have to report a very good' sale. The herd of cows sold from £4 10s to £8 1.2s (id, averaging £0 ss, which at this time of tho year must, be considered very satisfactory. A line of 104, 2 4 and (5-tooth ewes made 15s, and a line of 200 ditto made lis 2d, 2-tooth wethers 13s 2d, cull lambs 5s Id; blackface rams l ] 4 gns; hacks £('» 15s. Sundries sold at late market rates. Cows on behalf of other vendors made from £4 10s to £0 10s.
