WOOL, SKIN AND HIDE SALES.

Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd, report as follows on their monthly wool, skin and hide sale, held yesterday:— There was a good attendance of buyers, prices being slightly higher tnan last sale by one farthing per pound. We quote as follows :—Lambs' wool, 7 J „d; crossbred, to (3_'--,d: crutellings.4d to r>i 4 d; stained fleece wool, to sod. Messrs Levin and Co., Ltd.. report: We held our monthly sale yesterday, wlien we offered 51 bales wool and 51 bags wool, 1200 sheepskins, 00 hides, and a quantity of horsehair, tailow, and rabbitskius. There was a good attendance of buyers and prices bid were well up to current rates. Included in our catalogue were several parcels of crutchings, the best of which realised up to (, l . x d per pound. We quote:—Wool: Crossbred, 7d to 8d; dead, C>!.>d; crutchings, 5d to (■.'411; locks. -Id to 4 :! 4 d; iambs, 7 3 .., d. LOAN AND MERCANTILE. The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report as follows:— We held our periodical wool, skin and hide sale yesterday before the usual attendance of buyers. Prices were firm at late rates. Wo quote as follows:— Wool-Crutchings to dead 5d to 0> : crossbred coarse (id to 71411, iambs '7d to Bd, locks *o Skins—Crossbred medium b%d to crossbred half-wools od to s>_d, pelts to 4d, crossbred green small 3s 3d to 4s, damp half-wools 2s (id. Horsehair—To Is 7d. Hides—Calf 9d to !))_d, calf cut 7d to ox iiides to bull to 4%d. Tallow—Tins 21s Od. Our next sale will be held on June 12th. W.F.C.A. The Wairarapa Farmers' Co-opera-tive Association, Ltd., report as follows : _We held our monthly sale of wool, sneepskins, hides, etc., yesterday, -when we submitted to a large attendance of buyers some 20 bales wool, 50 bags wool, 1000 sheepskins, and 50 hides and calfskins. There is very little wool offering.
