HOCKEY.
Six teams have been nominated for the Wairarapa senior championship, and fourihave entered for the junior competition. teams are:—St. Matthew's, Excelsior, Post and Telegraph, Carterton, Dalefield, and Featherston. Junior teams have been entered by Excelsior, St. Matthew's, Carterton and Martinborough. A meeting of the Management Committee of the Association will be hold this evening, when the fixtures will be drawn up, and championship matches will commence on Thursday next.
