General Committee.

The following were present at a meeting of the General Committee held at '2 p.rn : —

Messrs 11. Gray (chairman), G. C. Summerell. C. E. Daniell, F. C. Lewis, J. McGregor. D. McGregor, junr., T. P. Lett, J. C. Cooper, J. tstuckey, D. Caselbcrg, J. D. Cruickshank, 0. C. Cooper, Jos. Morris, Bland Rayner, J. Strang. Several apologies for absence were read.

The following were appointed to supervise the taking of milk for the dairy cow competition :—U. Gray, J. W. Stuckey, N. S. Moss, B. Rayner, J. D. Cruickshank, W. D. Watson, J. McGregor, P. Cotter, G. C. Summerell, J. C. Mclvillop, J. Colway, R. J. Dagg, and the Secretary. The day appointed for the competition was Friday, 1-lth inst. Messrs Daniel!, Lewis, Caselberg, and the Secretary were appointed to arrange about scales for the competition.

A resolution was passed to call a special meeting of the lunch committee for Saturday, the 15th inst., at 1 p.m.

The following new members were elected —Messrs W. G. Lamb, J. Compton, J Graham, and H. F. Coom.

The Secretary was instructed to report on the question of installing the telephone on the grounds.
